Eden Project comes to bluedot
Get a taster of what you’ll find at Eden this summer, as one of our expert storytellers takes you on a journey from Earth to the International Space Station. Using crazy experiments and fun filled activities you can discover how astronauts get into space, how they live and work on the International Space Stations (including toilet habits of course) and how they get back safely to Earth.
Eden Project: More than just a global garden
Nestled in a huge crater in Cornwall, our Biomes house the largest rainforest in captivity, Mediterranean landscapes, stunning plants, crop displays and an array of art installations, exhibitions and stories. Outside, the Outdoor Gardens boast both wild and cultivated landscapes and provide the setting for our jam-packed seasonal programme and events.
A place to explore the world…
Eden’s more than just a great day out. Through our exhibitions, live programmes and team of storytellers, we aspire to fill our visitors with moments of wonder about our world, capture curiosity and start conversations. From spring 2018, the Core, our Exhibitions and Learning Centre, is home to our new Invisible Worlds exhibition, exploring the interconnectedness of life and the environment at every scale, from the microscopic to the astronomical.
… and ‘Journey into Space’
This summer we’re launching a brand new visitor experience at Eden. Journey into Space includes an immersive ‘Solar System Safari’, an Astronaut Training Academy, encounters with stranded aliens and a chance to talk with space experts. Plus lots more.
