bluedot takes its inspiration from Carl Sagan’s famous speech as he describes the distant view of Earth taken by Voyager-1 and seen in the vastness of space. The image highlights the fragility of this, our only habitable home by offering a new perspective on Spaceship Earth. Through a range of talks, exhibits and festival-wide initiatives, we’ll be exploring earth science and sustainable actions to remind us that we have both a responsibility, and the capacity to care for our home planet.
