Large Hadron Collider Roadshow

The Large Hadron Collider is an inspiring international endeavour that pushes technology to its limits to advance science – physics, engineering and computational sciences. Being part of the LHC provides real benefits to the UK – ensuring access to evolving technologies, scientific breakthroughs and inspiration for the next generation of scientists and engineers. You will be able to walk through a life size replica of part of the LHC tunnel as well as get hands-on with a spinning ball particle accelerator and a cosmic ray detector. You’ll have the chance to speak to scientists working on this experiment and find out more about what it’s like to be a particle physicist.
