Food contributes over 20% of greenhouse gas emissions with demand for food predicted to increase 70% by 2050. We will showcase how technology and consumer decisions can help reduce the impact of food on climate change. With the backdrop of the food system journey, learn how to make the right choices to become a sustainable farmer, with our interactive game, ‘Farming for the Future’. Take on our food carbon challenge: can you rank different foods correctly terms of their greenhouse gas emissions? We also provide samples of some potential future foods. Are you ready for insects with your dinner?
