The Language of Ice and the Fingerprints of Fire

What do you think of when you hear the word ice? Frozen…not just cold, but unchanging and brittle. Silent, white, lifeless. What about fire? Flames of heat and destruction. But both are much richer than this. I will use images and stories to show the beauty, contradictions and surprises of ice and fire in the natural world.
