From the earliest days of comic books through to the current blockbusting movies, the possible existence of superhuman powers has been a source of constant fascination. From supernatural strength and speed to the ability to create mind-blowing technology, costumed crime-fighters arise in all shapes and sizes. Heck, some even come from other worlds far beyond our own!

Based on their popular science book “Unmasked: The Science of Superheroes”, scientists Dr Cat Tennick and Professor Robert Walsh will explore the real-world science behind amazing superpowers. So, drink the super-body serum, don your super-suit and grab to an extra-terrestrial sidekick as together we unmask the science of superheroes!
